Bertram Construction Sparks a $100,000 Matching Gift to Busby Centre’s “Double the Difference” Campaign.

We are pleased to share exciting news: we are launching our Double the Difference campaign on GivingTuesday. Bertram Construction has made an extraordinary commitment to our community with a $100,000 matching donation, doubling every gift made between December 2, 2025 and January 12, 2026, dollar-for-dollar.

This leadership gift arrives as The Busby Centre sets a $250,000 year-end fundraising goal to meet the growing need for shelter, outreach, meals, housing supports, and essential services across Barrie and South Georgian Bay. With our emergency shelter consistently at capacity, outreach teams responding to record calls, and basic needs programs serving more people than ever, this match comes at a critical moment.

Launching today on GivingTuesday, the Double the Difference campaign invites individuals, businesses, and community partners to give generously, knowing their donations will be doubled instantly. All funds raised directly support The Busby Centre’s frontline programs:

• Emergency shelter

• Outreach and crisis response

• Housing support

• Community meals

• Hygiene and basic needs
